SafeCars: Find the Safest Car Models
SafeCars is an app that helps you find the safest car models in your price range. It uses reliable real-world crash data to provide you with easy-to-understand safety ratings. The app also sources RedBook™ price data to give you up-to-date valuations of new and used vehicles.
With almost 100,000 vehicle models in its database, you can easily refine your search by typical price, make, model, car type, and P-plater eligibility (Queensland P-plate licences only). You can even shortlist your favorite models to come back to later.
The app's compare feature allows you to weigh up between two similar models and see which one wins when it comes to safety. You can also share your favorite cars with family and friends using the share feature.
If you're looking at a car that won't keep you as well protected in a crash, SafeCars will suggest a newer or higher safety-rated alternative within a similar price range. SafeCars is a road safety initiative of the Queensland Government and is available for free on iPhone.
